The NYS Liquor Authority strongly encourages customers to complete their transaction online, by telephone or through the mail, when possible, offices in Albany and Buffalo have begun allowing limited in-person transactions.

All customers are required to have an appointment prior to appearing at any of the agency’s office locations. Customers are required to wear a facial covering to enter the office. Likewise, SLA employees interacting with members of the public will wear face coverings and observe social distancing protocols. The SLA has placed social distancing markers throughout each office location, employees and customers are required to adhere to these markings. Additionally, the SLA has designated the hours of 8:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday and Thursday to exclusively serve members of vulnerable populations.
